Quickies are great as it can be intense and it can be a great way to show your love to
your partner in a lot of amazing ways. However, some people prefer sex to last longer,
but unfortunately, there are some men that are unable to reach the extra mile.

In a 2005 study done by the Journal of Sexual Medicine, about 45% of the participants
have reported that they cannot last longer than 2 minutes doing penetrative sex. On
average, men can last just a measly 5.4 minutes.

In addition, a 2008 study has revealed that many partners want sex to last, on average,
at least 7-13 minutes. However, as I’ve said earlier, some men just cannot last long.
Sure, there are male enhancement supplements that exist out there that can help solve
the problem, but there are some that may not have access to this.

Fortunately, there are other ways for you to last longer and I will give you some tips in
this article.

Control Your Arousal

One thing in common in men that suffer from premature ejaculation is that they are
unable to control their arousal levels. They put their penis inside their partner’s vagina
and dial everything to 11 which will inevitably lead to faster finishing times.

It is important that you know how to control your sexual urges in a way that will not
affect your time spent having sex with your significant other.

Practice Mindfulness

Being mindful about everything that is happening in your body, as well as in your
immediate environment can also help.

I suggest that you start learning slow breathing exercises as these can help you
become more relaxed.

Use a Penis Ring

A penis ring might also help you. These things work by restricting the blood flow that
enters into the shaft of your dick which would lead to more powerful and sustained
erections (while also ensuring that you won’t ejaculate within the next few minutes).

Practice Makes Perfect

If you want to train for a marathon, you want to make sure that you get your body
primed for the said activity by doing active training until the day of the race arrives.

Sexual endurance is like that in that the more sex that you get, the better you are at
lasting longer in bed. So, if you are not bogged by physical symptoms or underlying
medical conditions that could cause premature ejaculation, then just having more sex
could do the trick.

Take Advantage of the ‘Refractory Period’

According to marriage therapist, Lisa Thomas, she said that when a man ejaculates,
there is a certain period of time where they would need to get in the groove again.

This is what she calls as the ‘refractory period’ where the sensation is lessened during
the second erection. So, men should use this opportunity to give their partners a second
serving.

Try New Positions

When you are familiar with something, your brain doesn’t have to exert so much effort
because your body will just go on autopilot to complete a certain task. The same thing
goes when you are having sex with your partner using familiar sex positions.

However, you can distract yourself by trying other positions. So long as you and your
partner can execute the position, that would be okay. Trying new positions can help
your mind be focused on the present than just letting your body go on autopilot.

Medicate

Premature ejaculation may be caused by some underlying medical condition. Consult
with your doctor to find out if your PE is caused by a medical problem so that they can
give you some medications to help solve the problem.
